So, i have been looking at the art of 'Gaia', a street artist based in the streets(obviously) of Baltimore, Maryland. To me his work is very expressionists', focusing on strong animalistic personification and emotional and expressive hands. Although i am more interested in seeing my work take on sculptural form, i admire the linework of his drawings and the woodcuts he uses to post these things around the city.

So i decided to post some stuff out of my moleskine and some random notes. I'm really into typography and anything design. I especially love industrial design, anything chairs, lamps, and stuff. so i'll keep uploading stuff like that. peace.

Lucid Dreamer?

Well i have been trying to design a new header for my blog... hasn't been going very well, so i decided to go ahead and post some things that have happened today. 

So i woke up this morning really sad, i had a really awful dream about my best friend, i don't really know what it means, but after talking to a really good friend at my school i've decided to try to become a lucid dreamer. Notice i said 'try', so i don't know how this will actually work but, here goes nothing. Oh for those of you who don't know what lucid dreaming is or are to lazy to look it up here is  a link. Let's see... oh-- i probably should have posted something like this first but i started this blog to share my interest in art  and to keep my friend 'in the know' about my life after high school. Also i believe it will help improve my writhing skills if I keep it up. I'm very interested in industrial design and sculpture and hope to go to art school next year, might post work on this thing too.

I looked at some movie trailers today while hanging out with my friend Shirley. A lot of them looked like good movies, especially, 'The Art of the Steal', ' The Good Heart', No One Knows About Persian Cats',  ' The Human Experience' and ' The LAst Airbender'.
